WIP: Curse of the Marimé
Pita Sedgewick’s quiet life suddenly takes an adventurous and more complicated twist with an ordinary trip to the grocery store. She is approached by an old woman who claims to be a ‘seer’ and who has information Pita must know. The woman hands Pita a business card that she considers dumping on the nearest display shelf, but curiosity gets the better of her and after a few days of consideration, Pita goes to hear what the woman has to say.
From that moment on, Pita’s life becomes a mystical journey of seeking the truth of her heritage which leads her precariously down the road of Gypsy folklore and magic, shape-shifters, an eventful trip to Romania in search of her birthplace and the means to end an age old curse put upon a family she never knew…her family.
